Chu-Chu Rocket is one a game that is packed with so much fun for the whole family. You have to get your mice to their rocket ship before the cat eats them. Or in other puzzles you have to feed your mice to the cat. There is also a puzzle called Cat Soccer, where you play against another player or the computer and try to get the cat into the other persons goal before they get the cat into yours.

There a lot of levels to play in, and you have a time limit to complete the stage in. Usually around a minute or so. You use your controller to place directional arrows within the maze that tell your mice which way to go, or trap the cat chasing them in an area so they can reach the rocket ship safely.

There are not a lot of graphics to speak of, as this is mostly a maze/puzzle game, but it is very colorful and attractive to the kids.

The game play itself is very fast due to the time limits, and this can be aggravating to younger kids. It takes a few tries to figure out exactly where to place the directional arrows so the mice or cat can do what it is supposed to do to finish the stage.

With Sega lowering the prices on a lot of games, I think that $10 for Chu-Chu Rocket is a steal of a deal. The mazes are different and so are the requirements for each level. This is one game that is fun for both kids and adults. I like these kinds of games because it gives families a chance to play a game together. Up to 4 people can play this game, and you can also play online. I do not use our Dreamcast online, so I can not tell you anything about that.
