Honda Odyssey EX vs. Chrysler T & C Limited

by   cuttingedge2 ,  Nov 10, 2002
Pros: Quiet, comfortable, ergonomics, creature comforts, fun to drive, part Mercedes Benz.
Cons: Price, past reliability, third row split seat uncomfortable.
The Bottom Line: Test drive the Honda and the Chrysler. Look for quality and creature comforts. Remember, this isn't the old Chrysler, but Mercedes Benz also. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Review: I like to do my homework before buying a vehicle. I've owned an '89 Dodge Grand Caravan, '91 Plymouth Grand Voyager, '96 Chrysler T & C and then I had to decide... would it be a 2003 Honda Odyssey EX or Chrysler Town & Country Limited? Consumers...

2003 Chrysler Town & Country Limited

by   eaderfamily ,  Dec 3, 2002
Pros: Comfort, luxury, handling
Cons: Third row split seats uncomfortable for middle person. Shifter directly in path to radio volume.
The Bottom Line: The 2003 Chrysler T&C is actually FUN to drive! We look forward to riding in our new "limo" and highly recommend that anyone in the market give it a test-drive.
Review: Please read cuttingedge2's excellent review. I won't attempt to rewrite his work.
We began looking at the Dodge Grand Caravan, thinking that it would be the same van for less money. We were wrong. While the Dodge version is also a solid...

Review: Well I finally did it. I bought my wife a mini van, after months of driving to various dealerships looking at all types of suvs, and a lot of research and homework. The Town and Country was the best choice.
The 5 star dealership treated us like...

Purchased T&C after considering Sienna, Odyssey, Passport and Pacifica

by   endorfin ,  Apr 21, 2003
Pros: Comfort, roominess and luxury features. DVD entertainment.
Cons: Gas mileage (so far below expectation). Chrysler reliability reputation.
The Bottom Line: If you need AWD, high passenger capacity and luxury then check out the T&C Limited. We were pleasantly surprised - you may be too!
Review: It was finally time to replace our 1995 Ford Explorer.
Wanted "3rd row seating" to provide for lifestyle with school aged children.

Considered SUVs (Passport, MDX), Minivans (Sienna) and Crossovers (Pacifica and others). This is...

Review: We have only had the van for about 5 days. I may right another review after I have put some miles on it. As for first impressions however, it is wonderful.

We bought the 2003 Town & Country LXi with leather seats. The price was 35,000,...

Town & Country -Great way for couples to travel

by   mcmurtrien ,  Aug 22, 2003
Pros: Quiet, comfort of seats, good gas mileage, ease of driving,
Cons: narrower but longer
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a great traveling van and one to enjoy around town, make sure you consider the Town & Country
Review: New update We now have 30,000 miles on our Town and Country Chrysler 2003 Van and are still extremely pleased. We took a two month 9000 mile camping trip through Canada and the West from NJ and it performed perfectly. We did make sure we got it ...

2003 Town & Country LX 29K Package-Top of the line

by   josh_mommy ,  May 1, 2003
Pros: Beautiful, best of options, affordable
Cons: Can't get driver side sliding door with power.
The Bottom Line: You get what you pay for, but the Chrysler Town and Country fits my families needs and wants.
Review: Overall for the $$, Town and Country has my pick for affordable comfort, stlye, and reputation. I would suggest adding the DVD/Video system, but that's just me ;o)

We looked at other models like the Honda Oddessy and Toyota Sienna, but for...

A very good minivan

by   SamNoe ,  Mar 24, 2003
Pros: Ride, Quietness, Luxury,
Cons: Small outside mirrors, No rear parking aid system
The Bottom Line: It's one of the best minivans today!
Review: Town & Country offer a lot of feature not found in most other minivan. It's the most luxury minivan. (But the new '04 Sienna will beat it).

Examples: Power rear liftgate; 3-zone climate control; beautiful gauges (in LXi & Limited only), very...

Town & Country LX

by   bruce888 ,  Aug 16, 2004
Pros: Nice ride , handling , braking and huge interior.
Cons: Very poor mechanical reliability. It eats front bakes. The gas mileage is horrible.
The Bottom Line: Because of the problems, I would not get another town & Country. For the amount of years that Chrysler is making them, they should be more reliable.
Review: Let me start by saying that I only lease cars and vans, so I get new ones every 3 years. We went to the Town & Country from a 1999 Nissan Quest. The Town & Country has a very comfortable interior, good ride and handling and great braking (4 wheel disc ). ...
