Author's Review
i bought this car used about 2 years and 2 months ago (august 2005) and lucked out by finding one with 45k on it. I test drove a couple cars that i could afford at the time, but nothing compared to this in power for the price. sure is has a couple little kinks in it, but what car doesn't have something wrong with it after 7 years.
Fuel economy is OK, but thats only because i dont really drive on highways, and i like to feel the power of acceleration sometimes.
the front seats provide lots of room for driver and passenger, and the electronics are easy to navigate especially with the dual press second station buttons (you dont have to constantly move your hand around to get to the second set of pre-set stations)
the back seat is okay for room but its probably more designed for new families with small children in the back. The trunk as well is a good size and can fit a bunch of things, including hockey equipment.
One thing that i truly loved about this car is its performance. A sibling has a 05 model car from a different dealer and is already finding it tough to start during the winter months. I have never had a problem starting this car, and am quite happy about it
The only concerns i have with it at this time is the oil light starts to come on a little time before i need my oil changed. i was told this was because of electrical problems with the wire connecting the light to the oil reserve.
The only other concern i have with this car is its pretty low to the ground. most other cars i have to slightly lower my body, this car is really low. I pretty much have to duck myself in and drop quickly. Its quite low to the ground.
