Thrilled with my '97

by   psimon ,  Dec 16, 1999
Pros: Rides great
Cons: None yet!
Review: I have a '97 T&C and have been thrilled with it. Aside from minor annoyances (such as the wipers making a rare but occasional 'swish' without being asked, or all of the squares lighting up around the PRNDL display) its a great car.

It was...

A Cadillac of a mini van

by   stunt ,  Nov 17, 2000
Pros: Dead reliable. Very comfortable.
Cons: It's a mini van, and I don't even have any kids.
Review: Bought used, with 37,000 from an airline pilot that maintained it well.
Was like new, except that the front brake rotors needed resurfacing (have since replaced them, at 100k after a second resurfacing at 65,000).
Like driving my living room....

I'm a Van Mama and I love it....

by   robyn.greco ,  Jan 10, 2000
Pros: Easy to drive, fits 7 people comfortably
Cons: Costs a lot to fill it up with gas, big tank but that could be a pro
Review: I never thought I would ever be driving a mini van! Well times have changed and so did my marital status. I am married with one and only one child but love all the room for other passengers as well as visiting relatives.

I really like...

Best van for the bucks

by   black85l98 ,  Dec 29, 2002
Pros: Leather, Power, Traction, Paint great car
Cons: Windshield Wipers
The Bottom Line: This is the top of the line in Minivans. If you need the space but want the comfort and luxury too than tis is the car for you.
Review: My first mini-van was a Dodge Grand Caravan. We had to replace the transmission just after the extended warranty ran out around 75000 miles. I should be upset about that now but I did put 229,000 on the vehicle before I sold it and the new owner is still...

Good vehicle-none that compare

by   walleyeman ,  Feb 26, 2003
Pros: Interior room. AWD economy
Cons: Not much power. No heated seats.
The Bottom Line: An excellent vehicle for family use in northern climates. OK for towing under 3000 pounds.
Review: After looking at several SUV's we decided on the Town & Country LXI AWD. We really liked the ride-especially compared to the Ford Expedition and Chevy Surburban we compared it to. After 165,000 miles we are not sorry that we chose this van. We have...

Great family vehicle

by   TayPay ,  Oct 31, 2000
Pros: Look, options, power.
Cons: Mileage.
Review: We have done the "minivan thing" for a few years to haul the family (myself, my wife, and two young sons) around town and for vacations. During the process, we've owned a couple vans and have driven several others. The '97 Town and Country is...

The best minivan in its class, no questions asked...

by   Night ,  May 12, 2000
Pros: Great handling, reliability, and comfort.
Cons: Plain styling, high price for a minivan.
Review: I bought the Chrysler Town and Country van because Chrysler has been a very reliable car manufacturer, and this is evident in the Town and Country. Not very many minivans ride like a car, and have the comfort like a car. I was very surprised at how...

Luxury Minivan, hard to work on.

by   cjbrewer ,  Mar 15, 2004
Pros: Great feel and drive
Cons: tough maintenance
Review: Looking for an comfortable minivan that has a little sport and a lot of luxury? You will find it in this minivan. I have owned a LX AWD model with 70,000 miles for about six months now. I have had to perform some maintenance to it, so the honeymoon is ...

They can't fix it.

by   ppramsey ,  Jun 6, 2001
Pros: Looks,comfort
Cons: Reliability, repair
The Bottom Line: Buy one but hope for no lemon!
Review: I bought my T&C new in 1997. Since that time I have taken into various dealerships for repair only to be told the problem cannot be replicated. My van stalls frequently, usually while going 65 mph on the freeway. It just dies out completely, yes...it...
