Fun title with some unique gameplay

Usually a good movie is immediately made into a bad movie and vice-versa. There have been rare exceptions but some of the worst video games of all time are made by studios trying to grab a few extra bucks and the consumers expense. Fortunately, Chronicles of Narnia was not a title one would send to the 99 cent bin within five minutes of playing it. The gameplay revolves a lot around the button mashing hack/slash style of adventure games without all the blood of course. The game isn't repetitive as the game is filled with unique features in any game would be considered ground breaking stuff. Each child has there own style and abilities with little overlap. The plot requires you to use each character at different points in the game adding to the variety of play. There are a few rpg style elements in the gaining of new abilities, but this is really very limited. The graphics, sounds, music, camera, and cut scenes are all top of the line giving this game a polished look and unique feel. The only problem is that the game is spoiler heavy for those that haven't read of seen the movies. Fortunately, I have already the book and after seeing some of the movies scenes already may rent it in the future. So read the book or watch the movie before playing this game as it mimics the two closely.
