What a Truck!!!

The 07 Avalanche is the best truck ever. I have owned my Avalanche for 9 months and 13,500 miles now. Honda advertises a "lockable trunk in the bed"; the Avalanches entire bed is lockable. I can carry a 10' piece of lumber in the truck with the tailgate closed and the bed cover on. I can also carry a full sheet of plywood with the tailgate closed. I have made several trips with a trailer tied to the back bumper, and this thing tows great. Riding in the evenings with the sun roof open, and the rear window removed is real cool too. The interior looks more like a luxury car than a truck. The ride is better than the ride in my 04 Escalade, naturally that is partially due to the longer wheel-base, but still the ride is not harsh or truck like. The performance of the truck is excellent considering the size. It isn't a sports car, but that is not how it is marketed either, however, it does handle quite nicely. As for people complaining about the gas mileage, maybe they should have purchase a Civic, come on people, this is a truck. Compare the mileage of the Avalanche to the mileage people with Hemi Rams get, and you will be quite pleased.
