I was never driving a mini van until I met the 2005 uplander

I was determined not to buy a minivan. I loved the Equinox, the Passat, the Murano even. When I sat in the Uplander for the first time. (short wheel base) I didn't feel like I was in a van. It rides high like a truck. I can keep all the seats in and take my Volleyball team to a game. I roll out the back seats, put the dog gate back in and take my family on an outing. The DVD with wireless headphones are great. THey keeps the four year old silent. The information centre keep you informed about oil life, how much gas is left, what kind of gas mileage you're getting. It has been very snowing and icy here in Northen Ontario. The Uplander handles like a dream in the snow. I have a basic model. It still has all the bells and whistles of the higher version. Power everything, except door. If you are in the market and you're not convinced. I did not want a minivan. I drove a two door sunbird in 93. I drove a four door Intrigue in 99. THis van beats those vehicles for safety, space, versatility, and price. I paid 21900 and that's here in canada. In the states, I know there are better deals.
