Great Van for Family

My wife did a lot of research for a new van and decided that she liked the uplander. During a trip to illinois with our windstar we stopped at the chevy dealer and decided to buy the uplander.

The vehicle has run great with little problems. I just had the weather strip replaced on the automatic door (warranty) and I had to have the rotors cut down because of a vibration. We have had the van for almost a year and have put over 12,000 miles on it.

There is a good amount of room behind the rear third seat for storage and the rear seats fold down to add more. My wife loads her van each week with large amounts of food for our little league concession stand.

I have found that the vans transmission does not hold the van in place on a hill unless you give it some gas. The transmission works great otherwise.

We have taken numerous trips in this van and love it.

We have the roof rack on top but the cross bars are and added cost and expensive which we have not purchased. The spare tire is a donut which we have had to use :-( There is enough room to put a full size tire as a spare but I have not bought a rim and tire yet.
