Author's Review

I own a 2002 chevrolet S10 crew cab LS and the kids really like it. They have their own doors with deep tinted glass. Of course I think it is a nice looking truck. We had a S10 extended cab previously and this crew cab is MUCH better. The extended cab is a joke for passengers in the rear of the cab. They must sit sideways on a little seat. Putting kids sideways in a car seat back there is dangerous at best. Putting 2 adults back there is an embarrassment.

This crew cab is far superior to the extended cab. 5 adults can ride in this crew cab truck. 3 adults can sit forward comfortably in the rear of the cab. Or 3 car seats for the kid fit in the rear of the cab sitting forward. This truck hauled my Coleman Niagra pop up camper like there was nothing behind it. That is 3,250 pounds. Towing that trailer was
a very smooth ride and a good fit for this truck. It drives through 2 feet of snow in a long driveway like it was not even there. In fact, I drove through it repeatedly to pack the snow down so other vehicles could get through the driveway.
