Old Woman's Dream Car!

Actually, our Chevy Monte Carlo is my husband's car but I invent all sorts of excuses to drive it. He may be catching on so I'll have to be more creative in finding reasons to take it out on the backroads and play. The Monte corners nicely on the winding roads. I should mention here that the brakes are well designed for a smooth, solid deceleration (only when it becomes necessary). The Monte Carlo has a sure, in-control feel in the steering which was one of the reasons we bought it.

Another reason we bought it was the price. We had been looking at a much pricier car, but once I saw this metal-flake-teal machine I was hooked. I only had to twist my husband's arm a little. The price was reasonable and much less than I had anticipated for this amount of style, options, and engineering. I highly recommend the car for fun and cruising the freeways. Nice ride!

Driving this car makes me feel like a sexy grandma.

It is unfortunate that a V8 was not an option, although I probably would have gotten myself into trouble.
