Product Review

I always wanted one.

by   satsumasam ,   May 22, 2002

Pros:  Roomy seating for eight. Lots of cargo room. Fits into my garage.

Cons:  Antiquated dashboard. Unique, stupid radio that only GM made. Horsepower - later models have more.

The Bottom Line:  Throw away whatever you're driving, and buy one.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars
Handling And Control: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

For thirty years I've admired and wanted a Suburban. Finally, last year, I got my chance. I dumped the Ford Explorer and picked up a cream puff 1994 Suburban with only 66,000 miles. The new car dealer had installed leather seats in November 1993 that are better than the ones in my Lexus LS400. This vehicle seats eight, can convert to have an eight foot bed, (with an aftermarket electric brake controller installed) pulls a 7,000 double-axle trailer, AND fits into my garage. I wanted an F350 crew cab in the worst way before I got this Suburban. The Suburban cured me of that foolishness. I LOVE this vehicle.
