I bought my 69 Camaro RS in college in 1991. Cruising at that time was pretty popular (it probably still is, but not on the street we used). My 69 had a 350, 4 speed and a standard rear end. Even though the car had crappy traction, I still smoked nearly anything that I faced. It was pretty dumb to street race, but hell, there weren't any official drag strips in the area and we couldn't bowl.

Now that I'm an old man, I want to get another one of these machines and bracket race it. there's nothing like the rumble of a vintage Chevy V8. Though it would cost a fortune to drive it with these gas prices...
