Pros: Lots of features for little money
Cool, redesigned exterior
Great handling - very sturdy ride
Cons: Has to overcome past reputation as dull family car
No air filtration standard, like Accord
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to any family - it's a great, safe, buy with lots of fun features for little money.
Review: My wife and I needed to buy a new car with 4 doors, since we are expecting our first baby in early January, and we both only had 2 door cars. We test drove 8 different cars before narrowing down our choices to the 2008 Honda Accord or the 2008 Chevy ...

Pros: Visibility
Interior Room Well equipped Tight body Decent Stereo Fast for it's class Cons: Plain Jane Styling
Gets lost in parking lot Seat fabric could be improved Review: While packaged as a 2008, the body style of the "Classic" is the same as the 2007 model. I know many are excited over the new sheet metal of the re-designed 2008 Malibu, there were some comprises made for the sake of appearance. First and foremost ...

2008 Malibu - Should Accord and Camry owners be jealous? |
|||
|
Pros: Quick, Smooth,Refined, Price.
Cons: Nerdy front grille.
The Bottom Line: An American sedan that truly competes with its Japanese competitors.
Review: With few exceptions, American sedans typically fall short of the quality standards set by their Japanese and European competitors. Last year's Malibu was a decent car, but couldnt match the refinement and value offered from competing sedans from ...

Pros: Arguably better than 08' Accord. Fuel Economy. Roomy backseat.
Cons: torque steer. No NAV computer optional. Built for people shorter than 6ft.
The Bottom Line: 2008 Malibu is definitely a neck to neck competitor with current Japanese imports of the class. I would have been thoroughly impressed if Malibu got a better technology package.
Review: I am not a person who is brand loyal. My family may be old-school Americans who gawk uncontrollably at the latest Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles, but to me
looks, power and technology are my only buying points. My friend Quentin, ...

Pros: American made. Good fit and finish.
Cons: Disappointing gas mileage. Cheap plastic interior materials. Boring.
The Bottom Line: I can't say I don't recommend the car, it's just that there are better options out there.
Review: I've owned my 2008 Chevy Malibu for just over six months now and I'm underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong it's a decent family sedan, but it still doesn't compare to my 2006 Accord in just about every aspect. When I was car shopping I looked at ...
