An Everyday Scent
Date of Review: Apr 25, 2004
The Bottom Line: Bottom Line: A decent scent that I like.
Introduction: I first started wearing Charlie White in high school when it was released. I don't care for regular Charlie or Charlie Red, but have always thought that there was something special about Charlie White
Stats from FragranceNet.Com:
Scent: aquatic
Classification: refreshing
Fragrance Notes: watermelon, violet, and jasmine. Accompanied by additional notes of sandalwood.
The Look: A rounded triangular-shaped, lightly-frosted, glass bottle with Charlie White embossed in white writing. Liquid is mostly crystal clear with a slight yellow tint to it. Topper is silver colored and sleek.
Use: I recommend spraying the cologne on your pulse points from at least 6 inches away and try not to inhale it directly.
Overall Experience: This fragrance is refreshing and has always had a fruity scent to it with some warmth underneath. The fruit part of the scent was always my favorite part. I believe that the jasmine and/or sandalwood might be the warmer scent – this part I think could be toned down some. This scent is best worn during the day and has medium staying power. I have received a few compliments on this fragrance over the years, but no rave comments. I like it, but my husband has never given any remarks. I would not give this fragrance to someone as a gift unless you already knew that they liked it.
Where do I get it?
Since I shop exclusively on-line these days, so I recommend getting Charlie White at:
Fragrance X - http://www.fragrancex.com/
FragranceNet – http://www.fragrancenet.com/
Bottom Line: A decent scent that I like.
