Nice high resolution camera - but ultimately limited by the optics and sensor

Date of Review:  Jul 7, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this camera to people like me who want a small high quality camera with many great features - just don't expect the absolute best image quality.
Review: This is an 8.1 Million Pixel mini digital camera. Sounds great doesn't it?

More pixels = better quality?

Well yes, all other things being equal this is true. But in the context of a mini camera like this, the reality is not that...

Portable, lite, with a lot of features and awesome battery life.

Date of Review:  May 30, 2006
The Bottom Line: Tested HP, Canon & Casio. Casio has the best/most features and best price. dock needed for everything. Asides this, i really see nothing wrong with the camera. 4.5 stars
Review: Ok, first and foremost, if you intend on traveling, get a traveling battery charger. For carrying the dock will become irritable. If you have laptop, then use the memory reader there to transport the pictures to your laptop and store.
I tend to...

Love this compact camera

Date of Review:  Jan 3, 2007
Review: This is my second Casio, the first being the Z750 which I wore out in tropical climate. The Z850 offers many features not on the Z750, including: easy to read flash menu with a "softflash" for close-ups, easy set-up. I especially wanted a small...

Great compact for all day-to-day photography needs

Date of Review:  Jun 11, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great compact camera to meet all normal photography needs of amateurs (will impress professionals as well).
Review: What a compact camera! Have never seen a camera so small yet so rich in features! Got it for $294 (incl leather case) plus $35 for shipping on e-bay. Purchased Mack 5 yr warranty for $35 and a Sandisk Ultra II 2GB card for $80...the whole package...

Never expected this great performance

Date of Review:  Apr 2, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great for the ones seeking professional quality in an ultracompact camera that can fit in your pocket.
Review: I usually read lots of reviews and pay high attention to tech-data and articles before making any purchase. Well, this time I skipped the rule. While heading to the store, I was determined to purchase the T9 Sony camera when I run onto the Casio...

Good compact camera

Date of Review:  May 24, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for amazing pictures and great battery life with a few manual features so you are in control, this is it.
Review: I was looking for a new digital camera as my Canon S110 was way out of date. 2.1 megapixels, heavy, boxy, small screen, I had to get with the times. As I was looking around reviews, I finally set my eye between the Casio EX-Z850 and Canon SD600. I...

Surprisingly good.

Date of Review:  Mar 18, 2008
The Bottom Line: A pocket camera that doesn't make you give up creative control of your pictures!
Review: This camera has features only found in more expensive cameras, such as manual shutter/aperture control, aperture priority AE, shutter priority AE, manual white balance controls, adjustable focus and metering modes, manual focus mode, etc.

A fairly good digital

Date of Review:  Apr 30, 2006
The Bottom Line: Think carefully whether you can handle the shape of the camera before buying it! Definitely look at it in person.
Review: There is a lot in the design of cameras that is subjective, especially as they get smaller. In particular, this Casio has a lot of very nice features, and it's compact enough to fit smoothly into a shirt pocket, but it was a bit cumbersome for me to...

Great little camera

Date of Review:  Oct 20, 2008
The Bottom Line: I love the exilim line of Casio cameras... highly recommened.
Review: I bought this camera when it first came out and I loved it right away... but I'd been buying Exilim cameras for a few years now. I love the widescreen, but they could do a better job of using the entire screen for picture review (some of the screen...

Exceptional Digital Camera

Date of Review:  Nov 27, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this camera to both novice users and those with some photography experience. The camera is easy to use, yet has many options available.
Review: Casio got it right this time with a great camera that appeals to the novice user and beyond. This camera is priced right to include such features as the Best Shot option that allows the user to select a setting based on the subject that will be...
