Who really *needs* a Swiss Made 500m watch costing thousands when the Casio G100-1BV serves your demanding activity needs equally well.
It has rugged good looks, 200m WR which should suffice for all moderate-level diving needs, a scratch-resistant mineral crystal face, a dual-time interface, and good usability, and all wrapped in a shock-resistant construction to contemporary Japanese quality.
The only cons are the Calendar is not perpetual, it will expire end of 2039 so I wonder why it could not just as well been programmed until 2099 or even 3000. Also a natural rubber diving strap would be more comfortable than the resin one (strictly speaking not "plastic" as Epinions states).
All in all, the Casio G100-1BV is an ideal watch for explorers, military, and great outdoors sports.
