The king of scientific calculators

This calculator is marketed as a scientific calculator, but it differs from most such calculators in its innovative display. It features what Casio calls the "Natural Textbook Display", which in Layman's terms is HALF of a TI-83+ graphing calculator's display (32 by 96 pixels. What does means is far more than what Casio makes it out to be-a way to see your work. This calculator gives you 90% of the functionality a graphing calculator provides, and even has some features that the TI-83/84 series of graphing calculators do not offer.

The FX-115ES can do Imaginary number calculations, summations, derivatives, integrals, matrices, vectors, equation solving, base conversion, unit conversions and a whole lot more.

It can also give exact values for some trig functions and will also generate a number table given an equation (similar to the TABLE feature of most graphing calculators).

And lastly, for those in Statistics classes, this calculator will also do 1 variable or 2 variable stats (the screen is VERY similar to the one on the TI83/84 graphing calculators) and will do many regressions and other stats functions.

All in all, it has nearly 300 functions and runs on dual power (solar/battery). This is the Ti-89 of Scientific Calculators, and will be of great service to those who learn to use it. I'm probably not even covering 75% of its functionality in this review.
