SD700 IS: Yes Image Stabilization Does Make That Much of a Difference

The Bottom Line: Overall excellent camera although pricey. Image stabilization almost seals the deal but wish there were more manual controls.

Canon SD700 / IXUS 800 Review

The Bottom Line: This camera would be on every reviewer's top 5 list for best compact camera. If you can find it for a good price, but it. You won't be dissapointed.

The SD700 comes with a 2.5" LCD. The resolution is better than previous models and it looks nice. However, it appears to scratch easily (the LCD is recessed 1mm or 2) and appears to be similar in LCD build to my coolpix 5900...

Canon SD700, -- my first camera, my best choice(revised)

The Bottom Line: If you shoot photos because you want to capture beauty of the fleeting moment, you can always carry with you this small but powerful and dependable camera.

Canon Powershot SD 700 IS Amateur User

The Bottom Line: I cannot imagine a higher quality camera of this size. It would be hard to take a bad photo with this camera after basic familiarization.
Review: I bought my SD700 IS for use at my daughters wedding. I wanted good quality pictures, flexibility, image stabilization and small size. I used the camera for about a week before the big event and even with limited time on with the camera my pictures...
