An Excellent Camera!!!
Date of Review: Apr 16, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants the option of taking automatic photos or taking photos using the manual settings, and having consistently good pictures.
I have had this camera for over a year now, and absolutely love it- it has allowed me to take wonderful pictures in every type of condition/situation. I love that you can do as much or as little as you want with this camera. You can go completely automatic and let it do the work on its own, or for those interested in experimenting with photography, you can manually adjust the settings. No matter what, you'll get excellent quality photos with crisp, clear images and color. I particularly enjoy using the Macro feature to get beautiful nature/floral closeups with crisp detail. Print quality is excellent as well, I have blown pictures up to 8 X 10, and had them look like professional posters.
Additionally, this camera takes AA batteries, so if you're ever in a pinch and your rechargeable batteries die, you can always just pop in some AA batteries to tide you over. The body is nice and sturdy, and the LCD is sufficiently large. You are able to adjust the angle of the LCD to help you take pictures that aren't at eye level. My only concern with this camera (which has not been an issue as of yet), is that the lens opening seems like it is made with a slightly flimsy plastic. But as I said, I have not had any issues or problems with it yet. I actually have yet to find any real complaint about this wonderful camera.
