Good except for Flash

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2003
Review: I have a G1 now and was very excited about this camera until I started shooting with the flash, but the built in and my external Canon 420ex. 75% of my flash photos are underexposed and I have been trying to resolve this for weeks. At this price, a...

Excellent for first upgrade from film camera

Date of Review:  Apr 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: As an upgrade from a 35mm SLR, this would be my best choice. If you have more money, look into the Nikon D70 but be ready to pay 50% more.
Review: I got this camera about a month ago and am very happy with it, after a decade of working with my Nikon F50 (equivalent of N50 in the USA). Don't get me wrong, I still love my Nikon, but the convenience of digital is so great that I have been stuck...

Our Second Canon Rebel

Date of Review:  Jan 24, 2004
The Bottom Line: We have nothing but praise for the Canon Digital Rebel. Now we have no excuse for not improving our skills and techniques, and becoming better photographers.
Review: My wife and I are both amateur photo enthusiasts - we enjoy taking photos. We started with a few cheap Kodak cameras and various 35mm point-and-shoot cameras, and then we entered the digital world with a Sony Digital Mavica (the original). Although...

Most reliable camera I have ever owned

Date of Review:  Feb 16, 2008
The Bottom Line: Buy this camera or any in the Rebel family as you will not be dissatisfied.
Review: I bought my Digital Rebel about a year and a half ago. I have gone through about 3 different digital cameras in the past few years and was never really please with their performance. I need a digital camera for work because I am taking about 100 to...

Canon Digital Rebel with 18-55 lens

Date of Review:  Jul 3, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you want a professional digital SLR without paying a professional price, then this is the camera for you.
Review: Excellent camera is all I can say to describe this camera. I have used the Canon Rebel G 35mm SLR for years now and wanted to replace my point-n-shoot digital camera with a quality camera similar to my 35mm. The Canon Digital Rebel was the...

Date of Review:  Oct 11, 2004
Review: I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I do enjoy good quality photos and I wasn't happy with the point and shoot type of cameras. I wanted the quality of my old 35mm film SLR camera but I didn't want to give up the positive aspects...
