A great snapshot camera

The Bottom Line: The Canon Sure Shot 105 is the best camera I have ever used. Other than the minor gripe about the placement of the flash, this camera is perfect.
Tired buying one-time use cameras to take to family gatherings/ special events, I decided to invest in a simple 35mm camera. The Sure Shot 105 has yet to disappoint me. Small enough to fit in a book bag or purse, the camera travels well; it also fits in a pocket, but is very bulky.
Photos taken with this camera are excellent. While they are not professional-quality, they are good enough to display on a desk or wall. Loading film is easy, and the battery seems to last forever. Also, it is very durable, I have dropped it several times without damaging the camera.
The only thing I don't like about this camera is the flash placement. When one slides the power switch, the flash comes out of the side. Nine times out of ten, when someone who is unfamiliar with the camera tries to turn it on, they will cover the area where the flash comes out with their hand.
Other than this, I can find nothing else wrong with this camera.
