Canon could have gotten it right

The Bottom Line: Not recommended, pricey attempt to do it all. Interesting failure that may start a trend. Can get more usable cameras for less. Wait for the next model.

Bad Experience

The Bottom Line: Be careful and don't trust your import photos to any one camera. You may regret it in the end. I did.

Canon PowerShot S1-IS: great combination of features & price

The Bottom Line: The image-stabilized 10X zoom and swivel LCD are a unique combo. Given ample money, I'd choose the S2 over the S1, but I'm happy with the S1's value.
Review: I've had the PowerShot S1-IS for about 6 weeks, and found that my photos have improved greatly since my initial purchase. I suspect that some difficulties reported may be due less to the camera than the user.
