Fantastic Camera but with a few alerts

The canon processing is very good. This camera is a very very good alternative to dslr camera. Its like a mini dslr without the powerful sensor. Before I say its the best camera in this category, there are some drawbacks that must be understood before you buy it. This is a point and shoot with many controls. To get the best out of this you must learn the controls. You can do ok without but you won't be able to maximize the best pictures. This reminds me so much of the output of slrdigital except you have to work this much harder. Imagine a dslr camera with a lens half the size and a processor chip half the size. You must really hold camera still and you must try different shutter speeds and evualative settings and exposure compensations levels. The camera is very sensitive to each setting so one shot might not work as well as the previous shot without more settings. The work you put into it will pay you back in kind... At first I was disappointed but then saw the tact sharp exposure and pictures this could produce if your willing to put the time in and change the setttings. .
