The Bottom Line: want a camera that give you that professional quality with out spending alot of money for the pricy camera with its 4x optial zoom nothing is to far away.
This is a great camera for beginners or advance users. Different settings allow free range of use of this camera specifics on this camera are 7.1 mega pixels 4x optical zoom, optical image stabilizer, digic III, face detection, 2.5 lcd screen 2inch macro, 30fps vga movie mode, special scene mode, sd media card compatible, print and share button, requires 2AA batteries, I would recommend that you use rechargable batteries due to consumption of batteries. compatible with all windows versions including vista and Mac computers, over all this is a nice weighted compact camera fits into a purse or hand bag easily and functions great. you can mount it on any tripod for doing self movies comes with cables to hook up to TV and in movie mode you can create movies of your own with sound and quality is great. Sd card is expandable. make your own panoramic photos with the stick Assistant witch is great for the wide angle shots you can't normal get just right makes it simple as pie. you can buy an addition to the camera that allows you to take it under water to take photos protects the camera from water when you are under the water also. Great quality and sound always sync together and great for going to plays to record your child or just take photos of your kids or family easy to slip in your purse or put into a camera bag and go with the optical zoom feel free to sit back from the action and still get great quality and sound can do action video as well so if you kid or someone you know is into sports it is great for taping them and send in email or upload to my space or you tube.
