Review: It has been a good tradition that you can pick any Canon camera with no regrets. I do not like to generalize, but even their cheapest offerings provided consistent quality, ease of use, performance and good design. And with the prices getting ever...

The Bottom Line: We liked our camera it was easy to use, and took decent pictures unfortunately it didn't last.

Good Quality Memories

Date of Review:  Sep 3, 2007
The Bottom Line: Good camera, good price
Review: As well as having my Kodak Z650 which has a high zoom I really wanted a camera which was less bulky and able to take on nights out with me. A family friend had a Canon Powershot camera and they recommended it to me a lot, I took a few pictures on it...

Canon PowerShot A560 Digital camera

Date of Review:  Jun 5, 2009
The Bottom Line: If you're just looking for a simple, good-performing digital camera to get started with though, the Canon A560 is hard to beat.

Review: Hi everyone i need to share some good experiance about the canon power shot A560 digital camera with everyone. I have been a fan of canon for a long time. This Canon digital camera delivers very good performance and clear image quality. The size of...

PowerShot A560 makes great gift

Date of Review:  May 26, 2007
The Bottom Line: Excelelnt camera for under $200. Use full automatic, or use some limited manual setting or nice pre-set scene modes. Face detection, in-camera red-eye removal make for nice feature additions.
Review: I purchased this camera as a gift for my dad, who has never used a digital camera before. So I'll be writing this review from the standpoint of someone looking for a good gift. Some of the key factors were price, size, optical viewfinder and...

Go Digital With the Canon PowerShot A560 Camera

Date of Review:  Jul 9, 2008
The Bottom Line: A terrific digital camera for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Review: Ever since my dad got a very fancy digital camera four years ago, I had found myself using my own film camera less and less. It's a perfectly nice camera, but on most occasions when I wanted to take a picture, I could just use Dad's camera instead,...

Good inexpensive camera, but.....

Date of Review:  May 9, 2007
The Bottom Line: A good camera for those seeking ease of use and the ability to grow into more advanced features, but not pocket sized.
Review: The Canon a560 has much to commend it. Crisp large viewfinder, 7 megapixel capability, three modes of autofocus (including Canon's face recognition), multiple shooting modes, and fairly intuitive menu structure, takes standard or rechargable AA...

The Flame that burns brighter burns faster

Date of Review:  Dec 14, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would strongly recommend not buying this camera: there is no reason with modern technology to buy new batteries every time you use a camera.
Review: I bought this camera to replace a competitor model. I was told that it is cheaper to buy a new one than fix it (immediately after the warranty ran out!)
I was attracted to the camera by Canon's good reputation. A quick search of the web led me...

The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap decent camera but beware of the Shutter Lag!!!

I Would Never Use a Digital Camera, Until Now...

Date of Review:  Jan 7, 2008
The Bottom Line: A great little digital camera for very little money that can take great low light photos. I would recommend it to anyone who is going digital for the first time.
Review: I had sworn on a stack of holy books that I would never be sucked into the digital world, then I went to China. I have always liked to shoot film. There is in my opinion nothing better than film. I own a very nice Canon camera with two lens that is...
