Good Budget Printer

The Bottom Line: It's a very good printer for students and people on a budget, good quality prints and good speeds offset the slight noise and average looks.
I picked up this printer at a local computer store for AUD$125, (although I'm sure it's much cheaper in the States) which is a pretty good price for a budget printer in Australia, sort of a strata above the very budget inkjets.
Being a student, I used to own a Epson C41, but this was definitely a step up in every way. Print quality has been very crisp, from text to photo, especially for its price, the speed has been more than expected and although it is a little bit noisy (as expected on a budget inkjet), it's much much better than my previous Epson.
The printer is also on the compact side, as you can see from the photo, and the looks are sort of average I guess, one thing I do miss is an outlet tray, that would definitely come in very handy.
The supplied software for printing photos and archiving them is easy to use and useful. I see here on Epinions that the lowest price in the US online retails are $43. That I would think is an absolute bargain!
For students and budget home users I'd highly recommend this printer, if you are not too fussy about having a super quiet printer. It's useful for printing the occasional photos too, although I'm not sure how long the ink would last...
