Setup gotcha

The Bottom Line: Print cartridges that came with printer did not work or the "Start Here" documentation was wrong. Otherwise, the printer seems great.
The printer cartridges shipped with the printer did not work.
My guess is that they needed to be installed before turning on the printer despite what the "Start Here" documentation shipped with the printer says. The documentation shipped with the printer says to install cartridges after turning on the printer and then you will be able to print a test page. However just after installing the print cartridges the message 'The following ink cartridges cannot be used after device initialization and must be replaced' is displayed on the Color Graphic Display.

The online chat support person kept pointing to this url but did not offer to send me replacement cartridges, even after I requested it. I had to go out and buy a replacement set of ink cartridges ($85), after installing them the printer seems to be working fine so far. The online chat support person did have the ability to view "Start Here" documentation shipped with the printer and I could not find it when searching the support pages for the printer, although the "Basics" manual is available.
I purchased a warranty from the retailer so I will attempt to get reimbursed.
I can't really talk about the rest of the features of the printer as I have only just started using it but the out-of-box experience and chat support was really sub-par.
