great camera for everyone, especially teens

Once again Cannon comes through for our family. A trust well earned.
I have an older Cannon powershot that still works great. When I wanted to buy a new digital camera for my 16yo daughter this was the first brand I looked at. I looked at many other brands but ended up back with Cannon, a reliable and trusted name in digital cameras.
The big selling points for me were/are:
Size, great for taking anywhere, small but not tiny.
Features, larger viewing screen than with past models, anti shake stablilizer, 8x zoom
Colors, like most teen girls my daughter "had" to have it in pink. Not hard to do if you shop online. I found pink and a great price at Amazon. Comes in a variety of colors
Lens 'cap' shuts completely to protect it. almost no need for a case.
This is a camera for anyone, it's not over complicated. It is very easy to use and the little SD card makes it easy to take your pictures and download quickly to most laptops or card readers. Includes the battery pack and charger for same. Charger plugs into any USA wall socket and charges easily overnight. NO MORE AA or AAA batteries.. hurrah!!!
Takes great pictures, even those fast moving sports shots. Flash is available with several options for indoor, out , red eye reduction etc.
Comes with helpful manual and software, but as with most teens, my daughter just grabbed it and learned on the fly, and did fine.
