Canon EOS Rebel Ti

by   finholt ,   Jan 28, 2003

Pros:  Very sleek new design, easy to hold, auto focus and flash work perfectly

Cons:  Nothing really.

The Bottom Line:  A great gift for a budding Ansel Adams or anyone interested in photography.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

For those of you who are still stuck on old fashioned film, such as myself, this is the camera for you. It looks cool, it feels cool, and it takes phenomenal pictures. The Rebel Ti offers the novice photographer the tools needed to still take great pictures, such as the very good auto focus and easy factory set modes (portrait, landscape, sports, macro, etc.) while still allowing seasoned photographers to adjust settings quickly using the huge LCD screen on back. This is probably one of the last great film cameras. Everything is going digital but quality is lost when film is not used. Unless you can afford a 6 megapixel digital, this is the film camera for you. If you have any old canon lenses in the closet, chances are they will fit on the Rebel Ti. Canon added a metal lens mount to the Rebel Ti.
