Canon- For the Best Photos

The moments we catch on film, moments of pure recollections of feelings, enabling us to relive sensations, good or bad. In some cultures people believe the camera can capture the soul and what better camera to do it with than the Canon Rebel Ti film camera. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone.

The camera is a 35mm S.L.R. (Single Lens Reflexive). This means there are two 45 degree mirrors in the camera allowing the photographer to see the subject as the view finder sees it. Disposable cameras have what is called parallax error; meaning, the view finder and eye do not see the same thing causing many to misjudge the shot.

There are both manual and automatic settings. Automatic will choose the predicted best exposure for you, while the manual allows the becoming camera savvy users to play and get the exposure they would like. For automatic users there are various setting to choose from:

Portrait- great for general shots
Landscape- has a great depth of field keeping a large scene in focus
Close-up- very good with fine details while up close to subject
Sports- wonderful for capturing action
Night portrait- allowing for the best exposure when it is dark out

For manual use the aperture settings range from 4 to 32 allowing for an aesthetic feel blurring the background behind the subject with larger apertures and keeping everything in focus with a smaller aperture. The shutter speed varies from 30 sec and more to 1/2000 of a second. The bulb setting allows you to hold your shutter open for as long as you like. The zoom ranges from 28-90mm. This is a very basic zoom range, but enables you to take good close ups and decent landscape shots as well. Remember you can always buy additional lenses. There is a display permitting you to see your settings at all times. There is a 10 second timer and laser meter focusing screen allowing you to focus on a particular point and move the camera keeping the original focus. The camera automatically recognizes and adjusts to varying film speeds.

I have been shooting with a Canon Rebel Ti for three years now and it has taken my photography to a whole new level.
