Author's Review

I just purchased this camera a little over a month ago and there is only one word to describe it. GREAT!! Maybe WOW....but no, GREAT works best. If this camera was a girl I would marry it! Now for my review. I bought this camera after my love for photography was rekindled after buying a digital camera. I swore that I would never use film again, but i realized that there is just something about film that digital just doesn't compare to yet. I looked at all kinds of cameras but I kept coming back to this one, mainly because of all of the great reviews. I bought the kit with the lens and i right away shot a roll of film and had it developed. The pictures were good, but not impressive. I went out and bought a separate canon lens and took a roll of film, had it developed and WOW what a difference. The pictures were great, and they were taken at my church under flourescent lights were I could never get good pictures before. This camera is easy to use for the beginner and the instruction manual teaches you how to use the camera in creative mode. I think the shutter button is a little touchy and the lens that comes with the kit isn't all that great, but other than that I would recommend this camera to anyone looking to jump to the SLR. Just think about buying the body and a separate lens.
