Great for home network

I just purchased this printer at OfficeDepot for $299, minus a mail-in $50 rebate. It is perfect for a home network/home office. It is the only printer I found that had built in networking, duplex printing, faxing and wasn't too big to fit at home. Plus, the price is great. So far it has worked fine. The manual is excellent, although I recommend you download the online reference manual from Canon. The only hiccup I had was that the manual said the router would automatically assign the printer an IP address for networking. I had to manually enter the IP address etc. It seems to have all the basic functions covered, but this is my first MFP. PC faxing is great. Bundled software seems good (haven't really used it much yet). Others might need more advanced functions. The only real limitation is that scanning only works to the one PC with the USB cable. Finally, the size and look are perfect for my setup.
