very good for nominal volume printing

The Bottom Line: noisy in mine, at least..at paper intake moment.. but ok for occasinal printing purpose
quality in both text
and photos is good.
in photos, one can spend much more and get better.
but for quick job, in sales ofc, etc...
the photo print out is sufficient.
text is very good.
pls note that despite the blackmail policy
all printer mfrs have on INK PRICING,
i had to get a printer and this one has two good points.
DESPITE RIDICULOUS INK PRICES AROUND THE WORLD,
this printer uses 2 picoliter drops. this is tiny.
also
the software allows you to further FINE TUNE
how much ink you want...
not just FINE or normal or FAST...duhhh...
but in between too, in 1% steps !
this is good.. i can now manipulate ink useage
directly.
lets see how long the black lasts,
as i use it much more for text for ofc docs
use. i guess the world needs color printers
even in ofc now.. i actually dont.
i would welcome TWO printers rather :
hear this canon :
one printer for Cheap black INK
used mainly for text for ofc.
second printer with allyour fancy technologies
for photo and other things....
let us decide, NOT YOU.

the day will come soon, when if you buy the
ridiculously priced 4 or more inks...
they will give you the darn printer free.
one can still have option of non canon inks
for that matter of Course.
anyways
for simple use, and Good control on ink
useage, this is a decent printer.
usb connection... has on off switch
and has resume button in case paper ran out.
oh
mine makes HECK of a racket in initial point
when it drags that paper INSIDE it....
like a guillotine noise ! yuk , man
wakes you up, fersure.
canon says, this printer will do
t shirt transfers too. well...
