Cliche for a Disney Movie, but still Rocked.
Pros:
Catchy song. New faces that I can bet we'll see again soon
Cons:
Plot could use some work
The Bottom Line:
If you don't like musicals or click flicks, Camp Rock is not for you. But a cute movie.

Author's Review
As a Jonas Brothers fan, my review might be a little biased, but I'll try to be completely open minded. After you get past the entire "oh no, Disney's making another musical about star-struck teenage romance that's going to fail because of something stupid but then suddenly at the end everything is going to be okay" type deal that you get with most movies of this type, you'll actually find yourself with a good type of movie. The music hits several different genres and with catchy beats and sweet lyrics, you'll find yourself singing and dancing along. Also, for anyone who has ever tried to be someone they aren't, or had a little romance, the songs really kind of reach out to you. I hadn't seen Demi Lovato in anything, but I really enjoyed her character. There were a few moments where I plugged her as a rotten teen, but she pulled through in the end. Joe Jonas is as good of an actor and dancer as he is a singer, so if you don't like him, I wouldn't go see it, but any teenage girl with the tiniest bit of soft spot for the Jonas Brothers should flock to see this movie. Several other characters that I honestly had no idea could sing or dance, but I had seen before really surprised me in this, and I honestly enjoyed it very much. The villain girl made me feel really sorry for her (she has a prima-donna mother who is never there for her) and I feel like the plot line could have gone better there. For example, maybe the mother apologizes in the end for never being there. Also, Mitchie's actions in the beginning towards the only girl who really accepts her for who she is kinda got to me. But it all worked out in the end. After all, this is a Disney musical.
