STS V6/AWD luxury performance model

by   Jakeblack ,  May 18, 2006
Pros: Loaded with features, 15 speaker bose system, gas mileage, performance, value for price, classy look
Cons: Rear seat room, medium sized trunk
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended; you get a lot of car for $10-20,000 less than competing models with similar features
Review: Rather than make this a sweeping overview of all configurations of the 2006 STS, I will focus this on the V6 model, with all wheel drive (AWD), with the popular 1SC (luxury performance package). I have come to know it in-depth as an owner, so my ...

My 2206 Cadillac STS

by   pamwy2 ,  Feb 1, 2007
Pros: Keyless ignition, navigation system, and On Star.
Cons: Not an ideal car for a family of more than four people.
The Bottom Line: I truly would recommend this for a family person who still wants to be a little sporty yet luxurious.
Review: I truly love my Cadillac STS. It is a superb car and has some great features. The best feature to me is that it is keyless. To start the ignition, all you have to do is put our foot on the brake and press a button on the dash. You can also use your ...

Beauty And The Beast- All Because Of A V.

by   MagnumForce ,  May 11, 2006
Pros: Power, power, and umm, power. Looks great outside.
Cons: Interior lacks some refinement, generally lacking in some details found in competitors in the class.
The Bottom Line: If you want performance, this is your luxury car. If you want a complete experience, this isn't it.
Review: So I had some spare time. Saw one on a lot and decided to check it out, especially since I had been supremely underwhelmed by the regular STS when I had finally seen one a few weeks ago. One point of note before I go on- this was a mixed Chevy/Caddy ...

Cadillac STS - Keeping up with the Euros

by   mongkut ,  Jul 6, 2006
Pros: Smooth and powerful engine, loaded with features, nice ride.
Cons: Somewhat plastic feeling when compared to European or Japanese luxury cars.
The Bottom Line: Yes at about the same price you could get an Infinity Q45 with a slightly better feel but Cadillac is certainly trying.
Review: Preface I previously did a review of the Cadillac CTS which I helped my mom choose as a replacement for her cherished Oldsmobile Aurora that met a premature end at the hands of an incompetent mechanic. She ...

STS: what difference do all-wheel-drive and the sport suspension make?

by   mkaresh , top reviewer in Cars & Motorsports at Epinions.com ,  Jan 19, 2006
Pros: Acceleration, closest Detroit has yet come to a premium German sedan
Cons: Styling less bold and handling less entertaining than should be; rear seat
The Bottom Line: Very good, and certainly worth a test drive, but should be better still.
Review: Last year I reviewed the 2 005 Cadillac STS V8 with the standard suspension, steering, and 17-inch wheels because the dealer did not have a car with the sport suspension and 18-inch wheels at the time. I ...
