CTS Sport - Flashy looks, performance & luxury

by   mjdart ,  Aug 14, 2006
Pros: Very sharp looking, good performance, luxury and fuel economy. Limited 0% GMAC financing 60 months.
Cons: Bridgestone Potenza tires are good, but treadwear 140 is limited. Check UPDATE
The Bottom Line: This is a loaded $41K car that can be bought for many thousands less that will compete with cars costing many thousands more and limited 0% financing.
Review: CONS UPDATE 1/21/08 I just replaced the Bridgestone Tires - They wore evenly and gave 37,640 miles of service - WOW The car has never been aligned since new - this is a big plus as wellThe time came to honor my promise to give my son a ...

I Love My CTS

by   joez34 ,  Sep 5, 2008
Pros:

Acceleration
Diamond Pearl Paint
REAL wood accents
Leather that fits like a glove

Cons: No Sunglass Holder
No AUX or Bluetooth in radio

The Bottom Line:

The General has really turned things around with this CTS. If your in the market for a fun luxury car the CTS won't disappoint you.

Review: From the first time I laid eyes on the 2003 CTS in the Matrix reloaded, I fell in love. It has taken quite a number of years and the stars to align properly but I finally have my own. My 2006 Cadillac is a perfect balance between sport and luxury. ...

CTS - Pretty sporty for an entry level Caddie.

by   mongkut ,  May 31, 2006
Pros: Good performance and handling, nice programmable features, uses regular unleaded.
Cons: Slightly cramped, rough ride for a luxury sedan, noisy.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a sedan with luxury features such as programmable seats and mirrors, but want sporty performance the CTS is a good option.
Review: Preface My mom had been driving an Oldsmobile Aurora for several years and had grown to love the power of the 250 HP, Northstar V8. Although anything but a pocket rocket , the car had a very respectable 0 – 60 acceleration time of 8.1 ...

Base CTS -- how much do you give up?

by   mkaresh , top reviewer in Cars & Motorsports at Epinions.com ,  Apr 21, 2006
Pros: Unique styling, acceptable performance
Cons: Interior a bit cheap, needs stellar performance to make people take notice
The Bottom Line: Even in base trim, a thoroughly acceptable car. Want thrills? Get the 3.6 or V-Series.
Review: I'd driven--and reviewed--the CTS is pretty much every permutation. But I'd yet to sample the new-for-2005 2.8-liter V6, non-V six-speed manual, base suspension, or standard vinyl upholstery. So when a dealership nearby ordered a car with no options so ...
