Inexpensive and built that way

Pros: Inexpensive, portable.

Cons: CD player has fuzzy sound; tinny sound all around. CD player skips.

I bought one of these at Big Lots, and it malfunctioned almost immediately. The CD player was especially inept: it skipped frequently, and when it didn't skip it had a fuzzy, static sound, not even acceptable on a cheap device.
