My Hubby's Hero

I bought this for my husband after he whined about it. He is just a huge kid at heart. I knew that this would not really be a cartoon for young children and I was right. I would say that children 9 or older that know right from wrong this would be fine for, but not any younger.

In the begining of this movie Buzz and his partner Warp Darkmatter go int search of three missing L.G.M.'s (little green men). They find that the three L.G.M's were kidnapped by the evil Emperor Zurg. Zurg is out to find out how the L.G.M's mind link works.

Buzz gets the L.G.M.'s out, but looses his partner in the mission. After this loss Buzz refuses to ever have a partner again. He does not want to be responsible for any more deaths.

When Zurg learns the truth about the mind link and that it is on the L.G.M.'s home planet. He finds a way to steal the unimind and turn it evil.Buzz is forced to agree to the help of Mira Nova, X-R (Experimental Ranger), and Booster (custodian and wanna be ranger). With the help of the three abouve Buzz regains the unimind from Zurg. He finds out that his ex-partner Warp Darkmatter did not die after all he worked for Zurg the whole time.

Buzz turns the unimind from evil back to good. The L.G.M's are once again one and able to work together. Booster's dream of becoming a ranger becomes reality. Buzz and his fellow rangers Booster, X-R, and Mira Nova are a team.

As I said in the begining of this review this cartoon is violent. I would not buy this for a young child. There are guns, lazers, and monsters in this cartoon. I would not have bought this if it was not for my husband. I do like the fact that Tim Allen remains the voice of Buzz Lightyear. Though I do feel that disney could have done better on this movie. I do like the animation in this movie though. I doubt that I will buy this for anyone though.
