Epinions Last review = RUBBISH

by  dan2120,  Jun 1, 2007
Pros: Excellent Resolution, cheap for the performance, TV/VIDEO adaptable.
Cons: Fairly narrow illuminator
The Bottom Line: This is perfect for anyone looking for nightvsion. Maybe with the exception of someone needing 1X mag for head gear! Very high quality poece of kit! I loved it!
Review: I sell nightvision and for a while the biggest problem was ensuring the customer wasn't expecting to own what he saw in the last action movie he went to see. With the Stealthview you really can! I admit that as the guy who wrote the previous review ...

by  helpmekirk,  Dec 8, 2006

Cons: Not stealthview as claimed.
The Bottom Line: NO IR lights are visible to the observed.
Review: I bought these, as 1st generation light intensification (LI) commonly available has many problems. Succeeding generations of LI are incredibly expensive or not available to Canadians. I want to step outside my house or tent and observe dark areas for ...

Epinions Infrared vision device

by  oldhud,  Jan 31, 2007
Pros: Clear B&W image, long distance IR spotlight, uses AA batteries
Cons: Viewfinder way too bright, spotlight doesn't fill view, not really low light device
The Bottom Line: Good if you can use the built-in illuminator and can deal with the overly bright viewfinder.
Review: This monocular isn't really a light amplifying device like an image intensifier. It is essentially a B&W low-light CMOS camera, like you might find in a video security system, with an LCD display viewfinder and two infrared (IR) illuminators. Like most ...
