Burris Landmark Scope: Can't beat it for the money

I got mine for around $150. For the price you get very good optics that are fully coated. The adjustment knobs are very easy to use and it comes with a carrying case and lens covers. The threads on the eyepiece cover are very fine and can get cross-threaded if you are not careful. Not as good as more expensive models, but excellent for those on a budget. Wish it were a little more rugged by being rubber armored so that it could be used in the hunting field without having to be so careful with it (but for the money it really wouldn't matter if you ruined it after you got some good use out of it). Very good for use at the range or spotting from a vehicle. Extremely light. On the downside, you must refocus when zooming. Burris is a very good company; Don Burris was a cutting edge scope designer for Redfield scopes before they went under. (The Blount conglomerate has since brought the Redfield name back). I don't think you can beat this scope for the price, but definitely a no frills item. Got mine at Cheaper than Dirt.
