Author's Review
...I am only 35, but I have been a loyal GM buyer since I bought my first car (mostly due to the HUGE discount I get through GMS pricing through my relatives), and after leasing the 2005 LaCrosse, I will continue to be loyal to GM. It seems that Buick, Chevy and Pontiac are really trying hard to compete with all other manufacturer's updates!
Although the technology of the LaCrosse isn't very new, the exterior look and interior feel are very new and fresh, and it drives like a dream!
I compared this car with the Pontiac Grand Prix and the dimensions are almost exact and the engines are exactly the same in both cars' base model (200 hp, 230 lb-ft torque, 3.8L V6), but the LaCrosse is a much, much quieter and smoother ride and much more luxurious inside and out.
Gas mileage isn't too bad for a large mid-size sedan with a 200hp V-6!
