The Bottom Line: This car is perfect in all ways that count.
Review: About a month ago my family took a trip to Rochester, which is about 400 miles from where i live. We rented 2 cars, a Saturn and a 2001 Buick LeSabre, Now i have to say, after driving both, the Buick was my favorite. My sister and brother belong to a...

If I weren't an "SUV Woman"......

by   ThatBobbieGirl ,  Nov 17, 2000
Pros: Tons of interior room, large trunk space, very smooth ride
Cons: I had to give it back
Review: ...then I'd have to buy one of these.

I never would have chosen to drive what I would consider a luxury car, but when the keys are handed to me for free --- hey, what the heck.

When the mechanic told me that the steering pump they...

I Will Never go back to a Volvo.

by   oobboo ,  May 28, 2001
Pros: Ride, Handling, Luxury, Pampering, looks
Cons: Fuel Consumption
The Bottom Line: Once You've driven a Le Sabre, you'll never want to go back to a Volvo.
Review: I always considered myself a Volvo man. But when the new Volvo S80 came out, I didn't like its looks. It looked like the Volvo designers didn't make up their minds about how this car should look. It looked to me like a half-cooked design. I was told it...

Finally - My New Car!!

by   vgoulette ,  May 8, 2001
Pros: Riding on air; luxury for less; radio controls on steering wheel
Cons: None yet!
The Bottom Line: I wholeheartedly recommend this car to everyone because of the spaciousness, the reliability, and the comfort! You just can't go wrong owning a Buick LeSabre!
Review: After driving an Oldsmobile Silhouette mini-van for several years, it was time to trade it in and get a new car! We test drove an '01 Silhouette, but kept going back to the '01 Buick LeSabre. We didn't get some of the "bells and whistles" I was used to...

2001 Buick LeSabre

by   hughghugh ,  Dec 6, 2000
Pros: Value!! Handling, economy, safety, styling, quiet
Cons: awkward front floor board due to fwd
Review: After extensive comparison shopping for a business vehicle, I purchased a new Buick LeSabre Custom. This auto is extremely well built, has excellent power for a fuel efficient V-6 and handles better than any mid-size car I tested from other U.S. car...

Awesome

by   heididay ,  Jun 13, 2004
Pros: Luxurious, comfortable, reliable, good gas mileage
Cons: None
Review: I've only had my 2001 Buick LeSabre for 2 months, but I love it! I bought it 4 years old and it is in great shape, mechanically and physically. It's a beauty, and nobody believes that it is /not/ a luxury car. We purchased this vehicle as my old car ...

Great Car

by   rad1921 ,  Mar 21, 2005
Pros: The ride and options
Cons: Gas consumption in in-town driving.
Review: I just bought a used 2001 LeSabre with 44k on the odometer. I traded in a '98 LeSabre. The '98 developed transmission and engine problems at 73k and I got jerked on the price by the used car dealer. The 2001 model that I bought last month (Feb 2005) is ...

The Buick LeSabre-It's Still Grandma's Car-At a Great Value

by   guy922 ,  Jun 4, 2007
Pros: Loaded with goodies, way Cheaper than similarly equipped imports.
Cons: Body roll, Automatic Transmission is fussy
The Bottom Line: Still pretty bland and basic, the LeSabre Limited looks good and functions well, but there is better out there.
Review: In 2005, My parents decided it was time to get a new car and they sked for my help in choosing one. Helping my parents find a car is not something I relished. My parents are in their fifties and are very particular, my father especially. My mom is more ...

The Le Sabre missed my vote by just a touch...

by   Alfred_1 ,  Jun 5, 2001
Pros: Luxurious--yes, new car smell--yes, leather, etc.
Cons: not much, it's just that...
The Bottom Line: A very very nice car, but just a little hitch in the peach-fluff along the way
Review: The 2001 Buick Le Sabre...a very Nice car.

I'll go with that. And though I've never been overly-partial to Buicks, I did once own a 1984 Buick Century Custom. A very nice car--much like the Le Sabre in many ways.

Dual bench seats,...
