Author's Review
I got the car for a deal at $500 bucks and had to replace the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid as it would lock up and kill the motor when you came to a stop. a $45 fix, nothing major. Recently at just over 204K mi we put a water pump, a fuel pressure regulator, a fuel pump and a Crankshaft Position sensor. not over $300 total, not bad considering all of them were original parts to start with and we put about 8k mi on it before anything went wrong. Nothing other then whats been listed has went wrong with it. The mileage is not bad at all for a decent size 4 door v6 car without overdrive. we avereged about 30mpg on a 200mi trip going between 65-80mph. My only real complaint is the handling.. I think that a brick on wheels would have less trouble with corners at speed. The acceleration is a plus though, just put the pedal down and you go with both tires screaming. playing around with friends i've beaten a 95 Probe 5spd, a 94 Beretta with the 3100v6, an 87 Honda Accord slightly modified, and a 92 Blazer, all in just straight line drag races though.
