Great LeSabre

Date of Review:  Sep 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is the perfect car, I wish they still made them.
Review: My grandpa drove the LeSabre off of the showroom floor back in May of 1989. 12 years 135,000 miles later it was passed on to me. It had been driven all over the country from a small little town in Alabama. Although I admit there have been a few...

This car burned to the ground

Date of Review:  Jun 15, 2001
The Bottom Line: I would stay away from a higher mileage one.
Review: My first car was this 1989 Buick LeSabre Limited. It was my dad's car until I turned 16, when he gave it to me (he liked it so much that he bought another one after that, a 1995). When I got the car it had 110,000 miles on it. It was in good...

What a work horse ! ! ! ! !

Date of Review:  Nov 28, 2003
The Bottom Line: The car is a work horse and wont quit on you. Might have to replace brake pads but thats it. Maybe a starter. I would recommend it 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Well....1st off i would say that the Lesabre is one of my favorite cars that i have driven. When i first got it i noticed how much room there was in this car, the seats were really really comfortable. The car takes off so fast you kinda...

still going strong

Date of Review:  May 14, 2008
Review: My wife's LeSabre is now at 223,000 miles and continues to cruise right along. It is a hand-me-down from my parents, who bought it used. We have had the car 7 years, replaced the water pump, tire, and recently a fuel pump and Oxygen sensor.

89 LeSabre: Tough Old Car

Date of Review:  Jun 5, 2003
The Bottom Line: The LeSabre is a perfect first car: big, safe, and reliable. The engine is great, but the handling leaves a lot to be desired.
Review: First of all, you have to know the story behind this car to truly appreciate the fact that it's still running as well as it does today. My grandfather originally owned the car and drove it very hard on multiple trips to Florida and in stop-and-go...

89 LeSabre Kept on Going

Date of Review:  Jan 6, 2000
Review: My dad bought an '89 LeSabre which was the dealer's showroom car back then. It had few options in it: power locks and that was about it. The ride of this 8 cyl. vehicle was great though. It drives itself basically. This baby wanted to cruise at high...

Solid car!

Date of Review:  Jul 7, 2006
Review: I've found that the '89 Buick LaSabre is one tough car! Not only that, but it's very comfortable and easy to drive. They only drawback I can think of is that since it's an older car...the power windows seemed to have slowed down a bit...not a big...
