Author's Review

In college I drove a 1981 Buick Skylark. It wasn't too bad of a ride overall. I purchased it from an accountant who had kept it immaculate. Over all it was your basic transportation. It did seem to have several electrical failures in regards to the alternator. I'm not sure if that was part of the car or if it was due to my over powering stereo. ;)

Overall it was a good cheap car to maintain. I would probably still have it now if I hadn't have wrecked it. I rolled it down into a ravine off of a guard rail. Surprisingly enough I survived pretty much unharmed. Not sure if this was related to it's design, but I'm sure it was definitely a part of the design. It was a good car to have.
