It works well for the price

I have owned this fax for several years now, it has given me excellent service. I use it at home, so my fax volume is rather low. Quality is good but not as good as the Sharp laser fax we have at work. Can be a bit slow to transmit sometimes. I lost the manual and without it, the machine is very hard to program. The telephone handset is very cheap quality and is easily knocked off its rest, also it has terrible sound quality. I have noted that when the fax is plugged in to the phone jack it will block calls from going to my answering machine, so I only plug it in when needed. That may be due to my losing the manual and not having it set up properly. The film cartridges are fairly easy to change but expensive at around $40 a box. Overall not a bad choice, but I have seen other machines with better quality for similar money.
I paid around $90 at Sam's Club around 3-4 years ago.
For the casual non-business user, this would be an acceptable if not perfect choice as long as print quality and speed were not major requirements.
