I have had mine for about 18 months and I love everything about it. easy to use works great have had no problems. I have sewn all types of fabric from shears to denim and it works great on everything.the drop arm makes sewing small things like cuffs easy to do.I have used the other stitches available and the instructions are easy to follow and it is very simple to do.
This would be a great machine for a beginner or an experienced seamstress.I purchased a portable case for it at Wall-Mart for $20 and a bunch of extra bobbins so I can just inter change them( very handy).I have not used some stitches such as the blind hem stitch and a few others but I'm sure they are just as good.The bobbin winding is simple but would be a bit more user friendly if you could wind it without removing it as I use to with an old singer I had.
