Wasted Time

Having the use of computers on campus, I thought it a good idea to have use of one at home. Living fifteen miles from campus often made it difficult for me to drive in and spend time at the lab. I bought a Brother word processor, and was I ever disappointed. I used word processing on the computers, but had no idea that the machines called word processors had an entirely different language. I had assumed (incorrectly) that the use of them would be the same. What a rude awakening!
I quickly sold the Brother and invested in a REAL computer. I had enough to do learning my subjects, and did not have time to learn a new language for a word processing machine. This may be a wonderful item for someone who does not know computer language, but not for someone who does. I found it a waste of time and energy--which I could ill afford.
Brother makes a fine product, but not one that is practical for college students. I do not recommend this machine for college-aged students. It will only serve to create problems for them.
