Britax Marathon

I bought this when my daughter was three months as the infant carrier was getting too heavy and crammed. I absolutely love this car seat. It goes up to 60lbs while the Graco counterpart is only 45lbs. I chose to keep the car seat in the center of my SUV, which makes it a little tough to see our the rearview, but I got used to it. At three months she did seem small in this large seat so I don't know about using it for a newborn, but some people do. It is for zero pounds and up. Also, she is much happier in this seat than in the infant carrier. I also bought the different cover, Cowmooflauge, which makes it even more fun! The covers are machine washable too. It is a little more difficult to install than the infant carriers due to its size. Also, I noticed on some reviews it says that the straps get twisted, which they do, but that is going to happen at some point or another and it takes about three seconds to render that problem. Also, the instructions are bound to the carseat which makes it convenient when rotating the car seat. Don't be scared by the price. When purchasing a less expensive one, you will have to replace it at 40lbs, which may make your total cost more expensive. Britax makes quality products.
