The Bottom Line: Buy it, it's well constructed--it's a Britax; it is the best big-kid 5-point harness option, it has side impact protection.  Just don't plan to move it around--ever.

The Bottom Line:

Wait to buy until:  (1)  Britax works out the safety bugs (2 years) and (2)  puts thicker straps on the seat so that they do not twist constantly.

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this seat for older children.  It's useful over such a long period of a child's life.

Instructions need clarification and then seat can be installed securely

The Bottom Line: Initial installation took much longer than expected, but once installed the seat is secure, solid and comfortable - exactly why I bought a Britax.
Review: We needed an extra seat for our 3 year old to ride in my husband's car. I searched quite a bit, not wanting to spend money on another Britax Decathlon (though I'm not sure they make that model anymore), but he's just at the lower end of the weight...
